SHAME... SHAME... SHAME

I said in our Tidbits post today that I wasn't going to give any more coverage to this airplane incident crap anymore... But I just have to point this one out because I am sitting here half shocked and half laughing my head off. This may end up being the defining quote that says it all about how the media has twisted this story a full 180 degrees since it first emerged on Saturday:

It was Clay Aiken who was sleeping, not the stupid woman, idiots!

Even the controversial and often ... ahem... lopsided FOX News knows this!

People Magazine - you forced me to quote the eyewitness account for the 100234234839483949389th time!

I was sitting across the aisle from Clay Aiken and the woman who hit him. I looked over at him at one point and he appeared to be sleeping. I would have loved an autograph, but didn’t want to bother him. I was reading a magazine when suddenly I heard the woman across the aisle shouting, and I saw her hitting at Clay. He looked startled, apparently just woke up, and tried to talk to her and calm her down but she kept hitting at him. At that point a flight attendant came over and blocked my view so I couldn’t see anymore. Later on I signed a statement as a witness to her attack. I don’t know if Clay pressed charges against her or not.

Rant over... now, here's some nicer things to read. ;)
