Idol Stalker Names CDD American Idol Fansite of the Day

Well, call us flattered, but we've been named the American Idol Fansite of the Day by our fellow bloggers over at Idol Stalker.

Thank you Idol Stalker!

American Idol Fansite of the Day - Clay’s Daily Double

by Jeanne on December 7th, 2007

I’m going to try something new :) Every day, I’m going to *try* to point out some great Idol sites - places that I love to visit.

Today’s pick? Clay’s Daily Double!

I love the site because it is well organized and up-to-date. If you are a Clay Aiken fan and haven’t visited, check it out! Here are some of the headlines over there for today:

  • Pennsylvania’s Time Leader Reviews Wilkes-Barre Concert
  • Simon Cowell Comments on Clay in December Issue of GQ
  • Jimmy Carter Praises Clay, Clay Fans’ Work with UNICEF

Idol Stalker Poll: Clay vs Jordin - "To Love Somebody"

If you remember correctly, CDD let you know earlier this week that Friday would be "Clay Day" at Idol Stalker, a day when they guaranteed that there would be something about Clay in their article. Sure enough, Idol Stalker kept its promise and has a poll with Clay and Jordin both belting out "To Love Somebody" on American Idol. You can run over there and listen to both versions and vote. As of the writing of this article, Clay is ahead of Jordin, 631 to 7.

Be sure and listen to Clay's version again. It will still send chills down you, especially that great long note he holds out!

This Friday To Be "Clay Day" At Idol Stalker

For the last week or two, IdolStalker.com has had several polls with Clay and other past American Idol singers singing the same songs, such as Unchained Melody, and then their fans have voted for their favorite. Clay has won each of these polls, and seeing the dedication of Clay fans, Idol Stalker has decided that this coming Friday will be "Clay Day" at their site.

In the article, the author, Jeanne, tells us:

Clay Aiken fans have made their presence known on this site over the past week and it made me realize that some former Idol contestants really do have huge fan bases.

I’ve decided, for now, to make Friday a “Clay Day” because that’s when I’ve put up his Face Offs. No, that doesn’t mean that this site will turn into a Clay Aiken site on Fridays. News and everything else will continue as usual, but it just means that Clay fans are guaranteed to find Clay content on Idol Stalker on that day.
Jeanne also says, "Fans - send your fan art, news, encounter pics or whatever else you want to share to me before the Fan Day," and she is also willing to hear suggestions from the fans.

So Clay fans, have a special piece of art work you'd like to send in? Some news or a picture? Share it on Clay Day at Idol Stalker.
