Clay in Today's USA Today

From the CB:
Clay is pictured on page 2 of today's USA Today in conjunction with the article about Idol - it's one of him wailing from GMA last summer and the caption reads: "HITMAKER: Clay Aiken, who has sold more CDs than any of the winners, was runner-up to Ruben Studdard in Idol's second season."

There's also a nice graph that shows how Clay's album & digital download sales in 2004 compared to the others, including runner-ups from all 3 seasons. Last year, Clay sold 1,577,700 CDs to Kelly's 1,210,362 and Ruben's 1,179,274; in digital downloads he sold 138,001 to Kelly 64,795 and Ruben 57,064.

Chicago Clay Club Donates Funcenter to Local Hospital

From the CB's ROSE3333:
Claynation Chicago is a Clay fan group. We did wrapping for inclusion during the Christmas season and have had some smaller fund raisers. We now have enough to purchase a fun center through Starlight Starbright to be donated to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Thanks goes to the officers and all those who participated. Mods if you could keep this on the street for awhile that would be nice.

Clayboard Member Mentions Clay on Tony Danza

The Clayboard's lsdollylovesclay was at a taping of The Tony Danza Show... Here's her recap of what happened:
First things first...Carson Daly is a BIG BORE...Snooze Fest...and I didn't applaud for him...Next...I wore a shirt I made that read: My Italian Idol, Tony. During commercial bread I called out to Danza and said, Hey, Tony..Clay Aiken is my American Idol and you're my Italian Idol. He laughed and said...how nice..I was also talking to the pages about a possible Clay appearance. They directed me to a Claymate page, who said that people have asked Tony about having Clay as a guest. She said she's not sure if it's true, but supposidly he said he's working on it...That's about it...sorry my Clay shout out won't be aired, but I gave it my best shot...

Important Information: No tickets at the Box Office for The Tomsriver Festival

From the CB:
There will be NO SALES AT THE BOX OFFICE. It's because the Clay fans were calling and wanting to know where they can pitch their tents. The building is a professional office building and the box office is at the Board of Education Office. They have lawyers who own the building, CPA Firms etc in that building. There is no way they would allow camping out. Oh well, unless they change their minds, it looks like we
will be ordering online. There are only 2 phone lines into the office. Good Luck to everyone ordering tickets.
