When You Buy Clay's New CD at Amazon.com, Be Sure to Go Through Goodshop

I'm sure most everyone has already pre-ordered Clay's new CD from Amazon.com. But maybe a few of you haven't yet. Or maybe some of you will want to go back and buy a second one. When you do, be sure you buy it by going through Goodshop. When you go to Amazon.com through Goodshop, The Bubel Aiken Foundation gets 1.5% of the sale. Now we know how quickly this can add up. We've seen that by searching through Goodsearch.

Just go to Goodshop and click on the Amazon.com button. You will automatically be taken to Amazon's website where you just purchase the CD like you normally would. Its as easy as that!

What a great and easy way to not only purchase Clay's CD but to help BAF at the same time!

Oh, and while you're at it, help BAF by doing a few searches at Goodsearch.

"All Is Well", Clay 2006 Christmas EP which was released to iTunes this week is a smash hit to users of Apple's popular online music store.

Currently, the disc is the #4 on the "Top Pop Albums" chart and #38 in the overall "Top Albums" list.

Don't foget ... If you purchase the EP through the iTunes link at GoodSearch's GoodShop, GoodSearch and Apple will donate 3.75% to the Bubel Aiken Foundation.

  2. At the top of the page, where it says WHO DO YOU GOODSEARCH FOR?, type in "Bubel Aiken Foundation" and click Verify.

With The Holidays Coming Up, Don't Forget To Buy Through GoodShop and Help BAF At The Same Time

The holidays are coming up quicker than I can keep up with. Thanksgiving is next week, earlier than normal. And we all know what the busiest shopping day is, don't we....the day after Thanksgiving!

If you're like me, I hate fighting the crowds. And there are massive crowds out shopping right after Thanksgiving. Its like a tradition...let's see how many people we can fit into one store without it totally bursting at the seams!

So would you prefer to stay home and shop in the comfort of your own home? If so, and you plan to buy some of your Christmas gifts online, consider buying them through GOODSHOP. A percentage of all purchases bought through GOODSHOP will be donated to The Bubel Aiken Foundation. But you MUST remember to put their name in the charity section of the GOODSHOP page.

Here are the steps to get to GOODSHOP via GOODSEARCH. Go to www.goodsearch.com.

1. Where it says, "Who do you Goodsearch for?", write in "The Bubel Aiken Foundation" and click on "Verify."

2. If you are searching for something else, put in the name of what you want to search for.

3. If you want to go straight to GOODSHOP, click on "Who do you Goodshop For". It will take you to the following page:

The most popular shopping sites can be seen on the screen. But if you want to see all of the GOODSHOP shopping sites, click above those sites where it says "Click for more categories". Now just shop to your hearts content! Whatever percentage that site offers will be given to BAF.

Almost everybody shops at Best Buy around the holidays. So why not shop there via GOODSHOP? Want to send flowers to someone you love around the holidays? Shop at flowers.com via GOODSHOP. And how about all you EBay fanatics? Get there via GOODSHOP before you start bidding and buying.

Check it out. What an easy way to donate to BAF for their goal of 100 camps. We're all gonna shop this season. So do your shopping via GOODSHOP!

The Bubel Aiken Foundation Fundraisers - 3 A Day To Remember - Part I

I know we all get caught up in the excitement of upcoming tours, AI2 Rewind (with Clay narrating!!), Clay's upcoming appearance on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader, and all those gorgeous pictures of Clay at various Clay sites.

But let's not lose sight of one of the most important things we can do for Clay and his foundation, The Bubel Aiken Foundation...and that is donate whatever we can to the various fundraisers that are going on regularly in Claynation. In so doing, we are ultimately helping the children with special needs as BAF works to get them included in summer camps and various other activities with their typical peers. This is something that is very close to Clay's heart. He has even said before that he prefers that instead of giving him a gift, we donate to BAF. We've done so on his birthday, for Christmas, and on many other special occasions. But the day-in day-out ever going on fundraisers kind of get lost in the mix.

For the next few days, CDD will list these fundraisers, three per day, that you can take part in, some so easy that it literally takes a matter of seconds to take part in. Here are the first three:

Goodsearch - Each search means a penny for TBAF and those pennies add up quickly. Its free to search and takes just a few seconds. Just follow instructions carefully.

Goodsearch URL: http://www.goodsearch.com/
Copy URL and paste in your Browser.

Underneath the gray "Who Do You GoodSearch For", write "The Bubel Aiken Foundation", (NEVER PUT JUST BAF)Click "Verify". Before you search, always look at the "My Charity" box at the top of your screen to see that it says Bubel Aiken Foundation. Then put your search subject in Goodsearch Search Box.

You can put a Goodsearch toolbar at the top of your screen for convenience, or you can make Goodsearch your Home Page.

Goodshop - This one is so easy. Go to the Goodshop page. Make certain the "Who Do You Goodsearch For" section at the top says "The Bubel Aiken Foundation" (write it in if it doesn't). Then click on whichever company you wish to shop with. The most popular companies are on this home page, but you can click on the drop down box above those company names and there are a multitude of store categories to choose from. Now you do what you love to do...SHOP!!! A percentage of your total will go to BAF.

Empties4Cash - Printer Cartridge Fundraiser - Turn your trash into cash. When you have an empty printer cartridge, don't throw it away. Instead email empties4cash@hotmail.com and request a free prepaid carton or mailer. They sent me about 25 envelopes, so I now have enough to last me for several mailings. All money raised, up to $4 per cartridge, will be sent monthly to BAF. Cartridges with a print head that qualify are Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Compaq, Canon, Dell, Brother, and Apple. Epson cartridges do not qualify. Ask your friends, family, and co-workers for cartridges. If you throw them away, you're throwing away money!

All of these fundraisers can be found at The Bubel Aiken Market Place site . Try to support as many of these as you can. These first three in this article cost you nothing more than your time. And the more people who participate, the more those pennies, those percentages, those cartridges, add up! Now see how easy it is to help out BAF by participating in fundraisers to raise money for their camps!! The "100 For 1 Million Challenge" needs out help and support!

Goodsearch Updates From Aron Hall at BAF

Aron Hall has made us aware of two updates from Goodsearch. The first one has to do with BAF being Goodsearch's Charity of the Day on September 10. The second one is a new way to raise money for BAF through Goodsearch's Goodshop! Read Aron's letter below for all the information about this great new fundraiser:

2 Updates from Goodsearch:

The Bubel/Aiken Foundation will be Goodsearch’s Charity of the Day on September 10!

And another great opportunity from the Goodsearch e-newsletter:

Introducing GoodShop!

What if every time you shopped online a percentage of the sale went to your favorite nonprofit or school?

Welcome to GoodShop! More than 100 great stores including Target, Macy's, The Gap, Best Buy, Nordstrom, PetSmart, Staples and Wal*Mart have teamed up with GoodSearch to do just that.

The next time you're looking for a new book, computer, DVD, pair of shoes or clothing, go to GoodShop first.

It's simple. No username or password is required. Just designate your favorite charity or school, click on the store's logo from the GoodShop site and then shop as you normally would.

You'll get the same great prices, but every time you place an order, you'll be supporting your favorite cause with donations that average around 3% of the sale but can exceed 20%!

Sounds like another great way for us to help those 100 Camps in 2008!

Don't forget that from now on when you do your shopping online, go to Goodshop first. You can shop in the same way you normally do, only The Bubel Aiken Foundation will get a percentage of the sale. And every little bit adds up!! Let's keep working hard to help BAF raise enough money to have those 100 camps in 2008!
