Clay Interviewed by Las Vegas Radio Station

It has come to our attention (thanks to our friends over at Carolina On My Mind) that Clay was interviewed by Sunny 106.5 FM in Las Vegas last weekend. During the interview Clay talked about his upcoming NBC Christmas special (to be taped in Las Vegas in November) and the now infamous plane incident.

We haven't seen the interview posted anywhere on the internet yet, but when and if we find it, you will be the first to know!

They talked about what happened on the plane, and he basically said it was only his toe that wandered. They spoke about how the story got so blown up in the media and how surprised he was at that.

Asked if he always wanted to be in the business, he said that it was never anything he thought about. Are there times he wishes he hadn't pursued this career because of the media? Clay replied, "Honestly, there have been days I have felt that."

Show biz is not as glamorous as people perceive it to be -- limos, parties, etc. He added that he was home in Raleigh sitting on his kitchen counter in his pajamas.

They talked about the skating show, tickets for which went on sale Saturday. Clay believes the show will be very special with the skaters, whose artistic and athletic ability he admires, performing to beautiful Christmas songs.

Attention Nevada Fans: Tickets to Christmas Special Taping On Sale July 9

Tickets to the taping of Clay's NBC Christmas Special, Holiday Celebrations on Ice, go on presale Monday, July 9 for Official Clay Aiken Fanclub members, with the public on sale scheduled for Saturday, July 14.

Ticket prices range from $35 to $100. The show is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV

The show itself will air on NBC Christmas day between 2 PM and 4 PM local time. Clay will be the exclusive musical star on the show.

Fanclub Posts New Details About NBC Holiday Celebrations on Ice

The official fanclub has posted some new information, in the form of a press release, regarding the NBC Holiday Celebrations on Ice Christmas special Clay will star on this holiday season. The special airs on Christmas day on NBC and will be taped in Las Vegas in November.

Tickets to the event will be come available next month.

The Official Fanclub is confirming the date we heard earlier this week for the taping and airing of an NBC Christmas special in which Clay will star on.

Taping for the NBC Christmas Special, in which Clay will perform on, have been announced. This information was found on a Kurt Browning fan website. The figure skater will appear on the show, called "Holiday Celebrations on Ice".

Clay To Tape NBC Christmas Special In November

The official fanclub has announced that Clay will take part as the "exclusive" musical guest in an NBC Christmas special that will be aired on Christmas day.

The OFC notes that there will be a limited number of tickets to the taping which is tentatively scheduled for November.
