Tidbits 12/11

  • Beginning today's tidbits... this cool Clay mention ... The CB's buddyzgurl reports sighting Clay at Shell gas station's TV monitor -
Our local Shell gas station has TV screens at each pump that show "Shell TV". I guess so you don't get bored while pumping gas LOL! Anyway, my husband was filling up the car with gas last night and "Shell TV" was doing a segment on famous Sagittarius birthdays. Clay was one of the famous people they featured! He really is everywhere!

So, if you fill up at a Shell station you just might get a little clack with your gas
  • Simcoe.com - article about Suzie McNeil who sang a duet of "I Want To Know What Love Is" with Clay on ATDW -
Her appearance on the show afforded her some great opportunities: singing a duet with winner JD Fortune on the INXA album, Switch, a duet with Clay Aiken, touring as a backup singer for Pink, and recording her first album with top producer Marti Fredericksen (Mick Jagger, Aerosmith, Faith Hill), which came out in April.
  • Columbus Dispatch on the Lycos50 most searched for terms of 2007 -
even more fascinating is that former American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken was the engine's most-searched man in 2007.
  • Contra Costa Times - another mention of Clay being Lycos' most searched for man (once again!) for 2007 -
AND THE AWARD FOR BEING THE HOTTEST THING ON THE INTERNET GOES TO ... Clay Aiken. Yes, no matter how many folks are out there feverishly chasing down tidbits about Britney Spears' underpants, she has not been the most-searched-for term on Lycos, the search engine announced Monday.

That distinction goes to "American Idol" runner-up Aiken.
  • Lycos' press release for their top searched terms of 2007 -
Clay Aiken continues to be the leading man online with web users, taking the top spot as the most-searched man of 2007 for the second year in a row.
  • Groovevolt.com - article about Jordin Sparks ... "And Idol success is not limited to the holders of the crown, as Clay Aiken, Daughtry, and Elliott Yamin, have discovered over the past several years."
  • WNDU NBC-TV - recapping the year's highlights -
In my next couple of blogs I will be recapping the major news events that happened not only here in Michigan and Indiana but also across the country and the world. Michael Vick, Nappanee, Britney, Political Campaigns, weather, and much more will all be briefly addressed in one word summaries.

Ohh, yeah, don't forget, Clay Aiken.
