Comment: The original lyrics to the opening song, "Arabian Nights," which some viewed as anti-Muslim, have been replaced in all versions included here. In the new music videos, Aiken sounds OK (if you can stand his overblown style) and Lachey sings surprisingly well, but Simpson's voice is weak compared to Lea Salonga's in the movie soundtrack. The DVD comes with the usual Disney huckstering, including onscreen promos for Disney DVDs, a booklet pushing the sequels "The Return of Jafar" and "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" and sweepstakes entry forms. Kids - and parents - don't deserve such sales pressure.
