The CB's OneSingerGal found this picture of Clay with producer Adam Anders. He produced "EVERYTIME YOU GO AWAY" which will be on ATDW. (Anders is the one on right with the cap)
A new "Analyst" analysis for the new RCA photo -- "I'm here, I'm ready, and you'll never be the same."
More ATDW coverage today (there are TONs of sites syndicating the AP story from yesterday, those aren't listed, but you can go to Google News and search Clay Aiken to see them):
Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken competed in the second season of “American Idol” three years ago. (Mr. Studdard won the competition, but Mr. Aiken has since had greater record sales.) Now they will go head to head again with their third albums. Mr. Aiken’s, “A Thousand Different Ways” (RCA), will be released on Sept. 19, and Mr. Studdard’s, “The Return” (J), will go on sale Sept. 26.
I love this one from TV Squad:-- this is exactly what they posted:
American Idolchamp runner-upClay Aiken's third album, A Thousand Different Ways, will be a bunch of classic cover tunes. He'll sing everything from Elton John's "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" to Mr. Mister's "Broken Wings." Throw in a Dolly Parton song and a bunch of others and you have quite a collection. He'll also have four new songs on the album (CD!)
The album title was a perfect choice for the collection of love songs as the 27 year old believes that there are many different ways to love someone. Be it friendship, romantic, or unconditional love, there can in fact be 'a thousand different ways' to love.
The album name could also be interpreted as being the countless number of way that the cover songs can be sung.
Fans won't be disappointed with Aiken's ability to really let his vocals out. This album displays the singers talents vocally. But expect a more 'sexier' Aiken as some songs will call for a more relaxed style of singing.
Our Thoughts Clay Aiken has a voice that will have the ladies swooning over this new album.
Foxes On Idol: "There are some who might say the curse of the American Idol runner-up is that their albums don’t sell nearly as well as the winners’ do (unless your name is “Clay Aiken”). But maybe that isn’t the worst of it."
