Amazon.com: 2000 Orders for ATDW in First 24 Hours

CDD's sashntash spoke with Amazon.com's support center. The website is experiencing problems with ATDW's ranking. As of 12:32 PM EDT, ATDW has no ranking despite the fact 2000 copies were pre-ordered in the last 24 hours.

OK..... Just got off the phone with Amazon.

They agree.. There is a technical glitch that is causing our purchases to not be shown in the sales rank for ATDW and that is causing it to not show up in the Top Seller list in Music.

I emphasized that there are approximately 15,000 people waiting for an answer as to when they are going to get it fixed :grin .

They are submitting a ticket now - urgent basis (so they said...) to get it fixed.

They took my name and cell phone number and promised they will call me when it is fixed and/or when they know when it will be fixed.

I told them that it is #2 at barnesandnoble.com and that I was sure they didn't want our 12,000 members and the members of all the other Clay Aiken fan websites to order from one of their competitors...

I think they finally got my point :grin

So ... we wait some more....

I'll let you know if and when I hear from them.

They said that there were 2000 orders placed yesterday and they will get right on it...
