Tidbits 11/27
- Skatyh at The Clayboard - She just got her new December 4 issue of OK! Magazine (the one with Tom and Katie on the front) and she said there is a picture of Clay and Tyra seated cheek to cheek on the set. The caption reads: "L.A., Nov. 22: A precious moment on the Tyra Banks Show: American Idol contestant CLAY AIKEN and self professed "Clay-frican American" TYRA BANKS cuddle up."
- Post Tribune - very nice pre-concert article for Clay's Merrillville, IN show. A good chunk of it is devoted to Clay's fans and the BAF.
Clay Aiken is, after all, no hellion himself.
The 2003 runner-up on Fox's "American Idol" is mommy-friendly.
Michigan City's Jeanoma Babcock said she warmed up to "the fact that he sang music the whole family could listen to."
It was a big selling point for the 63-year-old grandmother.
"We don't have to worry about the lyrics and that sort of thing," Babcock explained. "That was very appealing to me because I hadn't been buying any music, because I was just kind of put off by the hip-hop and all of the newer music."
While it's true that Babcock thought Aiken was a crooner with "perfect pitch," it was his charitable side that steered her toward complete devotion.
"That just kind of sealed the deal," she recently said. "I'm a member of a fan club called the Aiken Breakin' Broads."
The Internet allows communication with club members nationwide: "We have a message board that we chat back and forth on every day."
Babcock's husband, Dennis, amusingly concedes that his wife is "really a groupie" when it comes to the 27-year-old North Carolina native.
"She just thinks he's a good, clean American guy that kids can look up to," he said. "I mean, she goes all over to see his concerts." - The Tyra Banks Show has posted some viewer comments about last Thursday's HOT Clay Aiken episode where the two flirted non-stop. One viewer writes:
Thank you Tyra for being you!! So down to earth!! You were great with Clay. Should've made that kiss last a little longer though. we were all living vicariously through you! I wish you all the sucess and good things that life has to offer. You certainly deserve it.
- More Kelly/Clay stuff... enough already! We get it!
- Huffington Post
- TV Week
- ProgressiveU - Rosie O'Donnell should have kept her mouth shut.
- CB Music - Taylor Hicks article - "The guy might be able to sing, but on Broadway—not for pop music (same can be said for Clay Aiken)." (???)
- Wikipedia now has a page up for All Is Well. The EP will be released at Wal-Mart tomorrow. Here is the tracklisting and track lengths, as posted on Wikipedia:
"All Is Well" produced by: John Fields - 3:59
"Christmas Waltz" produced by: Walter Afanasieff - 2:59

- On the Boardwalk- here's an interesting letter to the editor about the whole "Kellygate" thing the Raleigh News & Observer published. Kudos to Bonnie!
Clay Aiken makes an honest mistake, Kelly Ripa overreacts, Rosie O'Donnell over plays, Ripa protests, Rosie protects, Ripa hypocritical, Rosie's a friend, Clay comes out smelling like a rose.
The end.
Bonnie McIntyre - Southern Girl has some hawt new photos of Clay on the set of DOOL. These photos are courtesy the CH's mee2u. THEY MAY NOT BE ALTERED, CROPPED OR OTHERWISE CHANGED IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. THEY MAY NOT BE POSTED ONTO THE OFFICIAL FANCLUB.
