Looks like it's going to be a long, long yearBeaversOnIdol.com article about AI.
I've always proven a better procrastinator than a prognosticator.
While I sometimes envision the future, by the time I get around to doing anything about it it's already history. Still, I find myself looking ahead, trying to forecast what's coming down the road without it running over me.
I predict we haven't heard the last of Clay Aiken. Unfortunately.
American Idol: Going for the Gold
by Cindy Wagner (2006/01/06)
American Idol's season-two silver medallist, Clay Aiken, enjoys a similar position, with legions of admirers who looked beyond the gold to find a brilliant treasure. And many other precious gems have been discovered while American Idol was panning for gold; we see them, even if the producers do not.
So during this next competition, let's dip into the river of talent - but not just to look for gold. We may not find another Clay, but there is plenty of silver and bronze, pearls and rubies, corals and opals, emeralds and sapphires and diamonds waiting to be discovered before American Idol throws them out of the dish.
