Great Clay mention on CNN's Larry King Live last night. From the CB's Rpoppert -
I am watching Larry King with the part two of the AI7 interview. Along the bottom, in the ticker they have been giving lots of AI info, from this season and others. The ticker said how David A was only the second contestant to never have been in the bottom 2 or 3 all season. And that Clay was the only other one to have that record. I am glad Clay was recognized!
Hicks joins a growing list of former Idols who have joined Broadway shows, including Fantasia (The Color Purple), Clay Aiken (Spamalot), Tamyra Gray (Rent) and more. Hicks considers his debut "the opportunity of a lifetime," and a great way to season his skills as a performer.
The Battle for the next American Idol was fought Tuesday night on the grounds of the Nokia Theater in Hollywood, with approximately 7000 people there to witness the greatest match-up since Season 2's Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken - David Archuleta 17, versus David Cook, 25!
I really, really, really enjoyed these guys... each in their own way. Today reminded me of a Saturday in May of 2003. Downloading... downloading.... downloading.
I will more than likely tuck this away into my "discreet boyfriends" file very shortly. But in the meantime... please enjoy, enjoy, enjoy as much as I have!
