Welcome to the New CDD!

Today, CDD is unveiling its new layout. There are numerous features we have added to help your viewing experience.

• Headlines: The 5 most recent headlines are shown at the top of the page
  
  
• Photos: Photos we have uploaded to CDD are displayed at the top-left hand side of all our pages under "Home & News" in a sleek flash slideshow format.
  
  
• Archives: No more clunky drop down menus! We have implemented a toggle style archive menu across all of CDD's blogs
  
  
• Label cloud: We've introduced a label cloud on the left sidebar in the Home/News area. Click "[+/-] SHOW/HIDE label cloud " to show all the labels we have set up. Label clouds allow you to view posts grouped by label. For example, by clicking the "bubel aiken foundation" label, you can see all posts relating to the BAF.
  
  Another cool thing about labels is that more popular topics appear in a larger font size.
  
  
• Older/Newer links: At the bottom of each page, you will see an "Older" and "Newer" link. This allows you to navigate easily through the dozens of posts that are put up weekly. Because of this feature, we have dropped the number of posts on our homepage from 35 to 15. In the archive area, these links will instead show dates, instead of the words "Older" and "Newer" themselves.
  
  
• Video player: On the left sidebar of our main Home/News area, we've added a Google Video Search widget. Using the widget, you can search Google Video and YouTube! Watch your favorite clack right from CDD. We've pre-programed some popular search terms to the video player so you can start watching right away.
  
  
• New weekly poll: Our weekly poll is now using Blogger's built in polling feature which is slicker and faster. After you vote, it will automatically load the results.
  
  
• CDD Google Calendar: CDD is now publishing a Google Calendar which will help you keep track of all the events in the Clay nation. Access the calendar from the left sidebar of our "Home/News" area, or near the bottom of the page at the CDD Claytracker.
  
  You can also add the calendar to your favorite calendaring program such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and Apple's iCal.
  
  
• Printing: Internet Explorer 6 users had trouble printing using the older version of CDD that we have just phased out. This issue, relating to some Internet Explorer specific coding, has been resolved; everyone should be able to print our pages now.
