Invisible a "Stalker" song?

Seacoastonline.com music editor Heather Mackenzie says Invisible might be a good 'stalker' song.

Stalker songs - the perfect way to show you care

There are dozens of ways of telling someone that you LIKE-like them. You can buy them a drink, or dinner. You can send them flowers, or write them a love letter. You can stand outside their window with a boom box over your head that's blaring "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel. Or you can make them a little CD with songs handpicked to show how much you care. Personally, I wouldn't choose songs like, "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker, or "I Will Always Love You," by Whitney Houston. No-I'd take another route.
Stalker songs.

I'm tempted to add Clay Aiken's "Invisible." I've never actually heard the song, but its lyrics include, "If I was invisible/ Then I could just watch you in your room/ If I was invisible/ I'd make you mine tonight," and that's too creepy, even for me. Besides, isn't it supposed to be, "If I were invisible"? Doesn't he have a copy editor?
