BAF and Krispy Kreme announces Fundraising winner
RALEIGH, N.C., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc.
(NYSE: KKD) and the Bubel/Aiken Foundation joined forces in July to raise
awareness and funds to support the Foundation and its mission. The Bubel/Aiken
Foundation, created by RCA multi-platinum recording artist Clay Aiken, aims to
foster programs and activities that provide children with special needs full-
inclusion in all areas of daily life.

Krispy Kreme designated the week of July 19th as "A Special Week at Krispy
Kreme." During this week, participating Krispy Kreme stores nationwide
promoted the work of the Bubel/Aiken Foundation through activities in the
stores, including educational programs and Kids' Day events.
In addition, the Company assisted with fundraising efforts for the
Foundation throughout the month of July as many groups and organizations
responded to the "Fundraising Challenge" from Clay and Diane Bubel. The fan
who raised the most funds for the Foundation was to be awarded an all-expense
paid trip for two to meet Clay in person and attend an upcoming concert.
The Bubel/Aiken Foundation and Krispy Kreme Inc. are proud to announce
that Leslie Janaski from Milwaukee, Wisconsin raised $1,300 for the Foundation
and will receive the special trip. In total, the partnership between The
Bubel/Aiken Foundation and Krispy Kreme raised more than $12,000 thanks to
generous, hardworking volunteers.
