Tidbits 9/23

ClayAikenKids has a wonderful collections of Clay photo galleries at Google Picasa web albums... some good stuff to keep us entertained while we wait for some real news to develop!

  • Morris County Daily Record - big names set to take to the stage at Morristown Community Theatre -
    First-time and big-name headliners such as Minnelli, Michael Bolton (Nov. 6), Jerry Stiller (Nov. 29), Wynonna Judd (Dec. 6), Clay Aiken (Dec. 13), Wayne Newton (Jan. 24), Joshua Bell (March 1) and Anne Murray (Feb. 17) will take to the new stage this season, as well.
  • New York Blueprint - Clay to help reign in Neil Sedaka's 50th year in the music industry next month -
    On Friday, October 26, Neil Sedaka's "50 Years of Hits" at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall marks an exceptional evening of music with performances by the legend himself, Natalie Cole, Clay Aiken, The Bad Plus, Raul Midon and many others. A mainstay performer with the Oyhoo Festival, Neil Sedaka celebrates his career as one of the most revered Brill Building songwriters.
  • Daily Journal - airplane etiquette; Clay's infamous "plane incident" -
    But the mother refused and, it seems, things got even more unpleasant. The result: the captain of the Continental ExpressJet plane taxied back to the gate and booted Penland and her son off.

    The incident came only days after former "American Idol" finalist Clay Aiken fell asleep on a Continental flight, his foot landing on the armrest of the passenger in front of him. The singer claims he was awakened by a quick hit to the chest by the annoyed passenger, prompting an argument and a call to the FBI, though no charges were filed.
