Tidbits 2/5

LBFCA ... celebrating out "hawt humanitarian" in photos and videos <-- wonderful post!
  • The CB's Raleighfan was able to convince WRAL-FM in Raleigh to play not one, but two Clay songs during their noon time all-request hour. "A Thousand Days" and "Without You" were played back-to-back, but neither of these songs are on their playlist. What a bummer!
  • Contra Costa Times / MediaNews wire - AI story...
Just ask Ruben Studdard, the Season 2 champ who still fights comparisons to runner-up Clay Aiken. It's not how contestants do on the show that matters most. The real victory to be had occurs once the season is over and the singers try their luck on the record charts.
  • Toronto Star - questioning whether American Idol is rigged...
The theory goes something like this: producers pick winners. They then manipulate the outcome, usually by "jamming" the phone lines of unwanted contestants.

Exhibit A, the critics point out, is the Season 2 finale that had Ruben Studdard beat Clay Aiken even though national polling predicted a landslide victory for the latter.

  • Nothing here yet.
