Photos, Recap From River Rock 2006

After a successful Star Search competition on Saturday (which Clay helped judge), Clay joined Babyface, Michael Buble and other celebs last night in Vancouver for the David Foster Foundation's 2006 River Rock Gala.We're happy to announce that over CDN $2.9 million was raised for Mr. Foster's foundation last night! Clay sang a chilling version of "Right Here Waiting", the new single "Without You" and his American Idol classic "Unchained Melody".

Clay's also banted the usual bit. Here's some of the stuff said on the boards. The CB's Myla2x has compiled the all the cellcert reports into one convenient post.

• Talking about Jaymes...they worked on the CD for a year and a half.....talking to DF now......
• He was talking about Jaymes....a year making the album...the first female to produce pop music? I haven't a clue what he said! He's telling the story of how we got to AI
• One of his college professors appeared tonight -- she's going to grade him, he guesses.
• Lots of applause. David saying that Jaymes produced the album. It's breaking up. He said that one of his college professors is here. He's telling the story about Diane Bubel encouraging him to try out for Idol. Says he got cut twice in Charlotte...on to Atlanta...where he made it. Got cut again.
• UNCHAINED MELODY- david is making him redo money notes!!! high!!! cheers!
• HAHAH how cute is that!! David is instructing him and he's singing the high notes again!
• Changed it up a bit. Nice ending. Huge applause.
  David says he wants him to sing the part where he would know that the crowd would go nuts....I Neeeeeeeeeeed
