Clay album in Fall?
The Clay News Network has received the following information:
Regarding Clay’s upcoming sophomore album, while there has been no official announcement, Clay Nation News has received several indications from retail and industry sources that Clay’s next album may be due in fall 2005. Clay’s summer schedule suggests that this is as a possibility, as the Jukebox Tour could serve as an excellent way to whet our appetites for new music from Clay, and Clay’s July 29th performance on Good Morning America would certainly be a logical time for him to introduce the lead single for his next album. Now that Clay has returned from Uganda, we should be on the lookout for him to do some press in the next few weeks to bring more attention to the plight of the internally-displaced peoples there. It’s possible that he will also make mention of his album/touring plans when he does—especially if, as the New Vision article linked above suggests, Clay intends to raise awareness of the situation in Uganda through song.
