Tidbits 5/21
4 years ago tonightClay "lost" American Idol and was transformed into an American Superstar- TodaysTHV.com/AP Wire - historic May 21 moments - "In 2003, Ruben Studdard barely beat out Clay Aiken to win Fox's second "American Idol" competition."
- Clay down to #10 on the Lycos50... love the caption this week: "Raised over $180,000 for children"
- Nice Clay mention on MSNBC this morning, says the CB's gloriousrose:
This morning they were talking about American Idol and whether they vote or not. Lisa, the cohost mentioned she voted for Clay Aiken. Then Jim Kramer said he knew of an occasion where Clay visited a school for a cause, but didn't want any publicity about it. Kramer said Clay was a class act.
- Sun Sentinel - no need to win Idol for either Jordin or Blake because "both are destined for huge careers. Some of Idol's greatest success stories -- Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry from last season -- have been also-rans. "
- A few tour mentions:

- Southern Girl blogs about the Kimberley Locke & Idol Friends charity auction -
Do you have a burning desire to own something that has enveloped Clay Aiken in its arms? Have you admired Melinda Doolittle or LaKisha Jones's tops and thought, "I could wear those better!"? Maybe you'd like to be stylin' in Kimberley Locke's outfits. Would you like to see for yourself just how tiny Ryan Seacrest's pants are? Or maybe you have a really messy job to clean up and you think Simon Cowell's shirt would make excellent rags...
