Tidbits 2/11

  • A short clip of Clay's 'A Thousand Days' video was played on CBS Sunday Morning this morning. Here's what the anchor said:
"American Idol" is so big, you don't even have to win to win. Jennifer Hudson, who came in seventh three years ago, is up for an Oscar this month for "Dreamgirls." Chris Daughtry's dream of playing to sold-out clubs and releasing a number one CD all came true after a fourth-place finish on "Idol." (from CBSNews.com)
  • Canton Repository - Jimmy Kimmel article... ratings going up!
Although painfully short on trained seals and plate spinners, large celebrity guests - ranging from George Clooney and Britney Spears to Clay Aiken and Kelly Ripa - the late-night gabfest increased has its fan base (now at 1.8 million) from 2005 to 2006 by 22 percent, according to company propaganda.

  • Marhaven's Musings - a quote for society to reflect on... "The media frenzy drives ratings and ratings drive profits. Truth is too often too boring" ~ Lin Wood
