Clay mention in Blade Trinity DVD
From the CB:
Clay is Everywhere!!
My son brought over to the house the DVD of Blade Trinity. Perhaps some people have seen or heard of the movie?
On the special features, there is a part where the character, Hannibal King, played by Ryan Reynolds, is giving the name of three groups that are on the other characters MP3 player (or whatever he calls it). Then Hannibal King, who is in the driver seat of a vehicle, says, "but I listen to Clay Aiken, people say I look like him!!!
Other shots of the same scene have him saying he listens to Celine Dion, a Canadian treasure, Andrea Bocelli, did you know he's blind?, and I can't remember who else.
Has anyone seen it? If you get a chance, watch for it on the special features!
Clay is everywhere!!!
Clay set to visit Uganda later this month
From the CB:
Jan Whatever from Ideal Idol spoke with Faye and she said that Clay is going to be going to Uganda at the end of May and staying for a week. She posted this info on her message board at ClayDream Believers. FINALLY we got some confirmation, woo hoo! Let's pray for him as he embarks on the next round of his amazing journey. It just occurred to me, this may not be the "Amazing Race" that Clay had hoped to do, but it's something far more amazing than he has ever considered!

Record mogul Clive Davis returns to 'Idol'
Associated Press
NEW YORK - Record mogul Clive Davis is returning to "American Idol" to give his expert opinion on this year's remaining finalists.
Davis, who gushed over Fantasia last year before she was crowned champ, will appear on the Fox show Tuesday, a week before the season finale.
Davis, who heads the U.S. division of the BMG music conglomerate, has guided the debut albums of each of the "Idol" winners and that of runner-up Clay Aiken. Each of their albums has sold more than 1 million copies.
In a statement to The Associated Press, Davis - who launched the careers of Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston, among others - said he was excited to return to the talent competition.
"'American Idol' has confounded skeptics and unexpectedly given me special artists to collaborate with," he said Thursday. "I will be looking at this year's semifinalists with a sharp eye, hoping our amazing streak can continue."
The remaining "Idol" contestants are Bo Bice of Helena, Ala.; Vonzell Solomon of Fort Myers, Fla.; and Carrie Underwood of Checotah, Okla.
Anthony Federov was booted off the show Wednesday evening.

Clay Mentioned in USA Today
From the USA Today website
#1
Tom Vickers, an independent recording industry consultant, says Idol was in perfect pitch through the revamped semifinals but has fallen flat in the finals."The final four has gotten weaker as the show has progressed," Vickers says. "I still think the first and second years' final four were stronger than this year and last year."Vickers has doubts that any of the singers can enjoy the professional success of earlier Idols Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard and Fantasia Barrino or second-season runner-up Clay Aiken.
#2
Brittany Richardson, 14, another Temecula resident also waiting to get into Idol, explained why one singer's — or perhaps a judge's — problems don't affect most fans' interest in the show."When you find somebody you like and who you're voting for, you kind of look past what all the other people are doing," she says. In Season 2, which the group of waiting fans said was the best, "Corey being arrested didn't change the fact that we were voting for Clay."

Clay in Toronto Confirmed
From the CB:
It is true! My sister gave me further information and told me Clay will be performing in August at the Molson Amphitheatre. I cut to the chase and phoned their hotline. It is true. The woman there confirmed it. She said she can't tell me the exact date because it hasn't been officially announced. But I asked her if it was definitely true and she said yes. Here's the Site. She said it won't be on there until it is officially announced, but soon. Call if you'd prefer your own confirmation.
From ClackHouse:
Clay! Toronto! Molson Amphitheatre! *falls over*
I don't know any details, but a co-worker just told me about this (don't know where she got it) and I just called them and they said he was going to play there this summer and that it wasn't announced yet and that once it was announced they'd have more details... I asked her for a relative time frame of when he'd be there and she didn't know... my co-worker read August...
