From the CB:
These may be absolutely the truest words ever written about an online Clay fan! It is in a Compterworld online article about ungrading equipment!
"- Six months ago, Mom's Macintosh was in trouble. Her aging Power Mac G4, coupled with a dimming 17-in. Apple Cinema Display, was slowing down. One of the FireWire ports didn't work (I later found out it was just dust-filled). And worst of all, she was running out of room for all her Clay Aiken pictures, tunes and videos. "
I am just laughing out loud at the keyboard! Horrors! Running out of room for Clack!!!
Here is the link for the article! I know I've been cleaning out space for new Clack during this downtime!

Today is the 2nd anniversairy of the release of BOTW/TITN- the CD that was the only platinum single in the past 2 years. It is also the bestselling single of the century (thus far) and was the CD that lauched Clay's musical career. Congratulations Clay!

Clay album in Fall?
The Clay News Network has received the following information:
Regarding Clay’s upcoming sophomore album, while there has been no official announcement, Clay Nation News has received several indications from retail and industry sources that Clay’s next album may be due in fall 2005. Clay’s summer schedule suggests that this is as a possibility, as the Jukebox Tour could serve as an excellent way to whet our appetites for new music from Clay, and Clay’s July 29th performance on Good Morning America would certainly be a logical time for him to introduce the lead single for his next album. Now that Clay has returned from Uganda, we should be on the lookout for him to do some press in the next few weeks to bring more attention to the plight of the internally-displaced peoples there. It’s possible that he will also make mention of his album/touring plans when he does—especially if, as the New Vision article linked above suggests, Clay intends to raise awareness of the situation in Uganda through song. 19E returns Clay onto its site
From CV:
Apparently 19E has added Clay back on their UK site with this very nice biography.
Quote:
Clay Aiken
Another huge talent that came from the Idol stable, Clay has been a runaway success in the U.S. Losing out on the title of American Idol to Ruben Studdard in 2003, Clay was immediately signed up to RCA records. He's released a massively successful album, a Christmas CD, and has even had his first book stacked on the shelves. Not only that, this boy loves to hit the road, notching up four tours in 18 months. Aiken's awards and achievements make for a very long list. Among the highlights: he won an American Music Award and a Billboard Music Award; he graduated with a degree in special education; and he still managed to devote a lot of his time to The Bubel/Aiken Foundation, which he created to foster inclusion of children with special needs. He is a bona fide success on the charts, on the road and in the hearts of millions of devoted fans.

From the CH:
Is anybody else watching The Greatest American on the Discovery Channel? I just saw Clay! He was commenting on Sam Walton.
